A customer is using the PAN1026 series Bluetooth Module in their products.
They would like to use the Bluetooth branding on their marketing content as an extension of the certifications that module already has?
Is this possible? Do we need some special form to be signed etc?
For an end customer to use the Bluetooth Logo, all of the radio components -- stack, BT controller and processor must be BT certified. (All Panasonic BT modules are certified by the BT SIG. and the PAN1026 is an SOC so it contains a stack, BT controller and processor ) Additionally the customer’s product must be registered with the BT Special Interest Group (BT SIG) and the customer must join the BT SIG. Fees are dependent on company size and start at $2K. Visit https://www.bluetooth.com/ for additional information.Reply
