TC-P42X3 WiFi issues
I am attempting to get my Panasonic TC-P42X3 TV to connect to my local network to play video files off of a hard drive attatched to my router.
I noticed that the TC-P42X3 does not have an internal WiFi chipset, so I plugged in a generic USB WiFi adapter into USB 1. I then browsed to the network settings, however, the TV said that it could not find a compatible WiFi adapter. I could use a Ethernet to WiFi adapter, but I have no way to permanently power it, as the 2 receptacles behind my wall-mounted TV are already taken.
Do I need a different adapter, or am I missing something simple? I assume it is an issue where the TV only has certain drivers for the adapter, unlike a PC

This Panasonic Industrial Devices forum is for design and production engineers that have questions about adding Panasonic Bluetooth and/or Panasonic WiFi modules to a product their company is planning to manufacture.
I'm sorry, but you have to look for a different support forum.
